Tezos is One of Altseason's Success Stories, but Can it Get Better?
Tezos (XTZ) has managed to climb in value today by 12.49% versus its dollar value and 9.22% in its BTC evaluation. It is currently trading at $3.83 or 0.00037794 BTC as per CoinMarketCap's average. This is not the first time this year that Tezos managed to have a rally that surprised onlookers. Earlier this month on the 3rd of February, Tezos climbed by more than 15% after an announcement.
While large rallies sometimes known as pumps are not uncommon during altseason, few coins have managed to consistently gain in value like Tezos. One of the few coins that has also managed to perform in a similar manner is Chainlink.
It seems that Tezos is due to break its all-time-high (ATH) if this rally continues. Their all-time-high was $4.46 during the 1st of July 2018, during the infamous cryptocurrency bull-run. Tezos later tumbled to its all-time-low of $0.31 on the 7th of December, later that year.
Hypothetically, a trader that would have purchased Tezos at its all-time-low price, would have profited 1135%. It is also important to note that Tezos' all-time-low price wasn't too far off from its ICO price of $0.47 as per ICObench.
Tezos seems rather secure in its position as the 10th most popular coin by market cap at the moment. Despite that should we keep on seeing gains with the coin, it could begin a rivalry with Binancecoin (BNB) over the coveted 9th spot on CoinMarketCap.
The cheapest exchange to purchase XTC is on HitBTC as part of the XTZ/ETH pairing and is valued at $3.36 dollars. The most expensive exchange is Bittrex as part odf an XTZ/USDT pair and costs $3.93.
Time will tell if Tezos will continue climbing high.
